| Obverse description | Printed in black with a red overstamp; black seals applied. A full-length vignette of Daikokuten, the god of wealth, is positioned at the top, front-facing and standing upon two rice bales while shouldering a large treasure bag with his right hand. The denomination is rendered vertically within a cartouche in the centre of the note, with the issuing authority inscription below, followed by vertical columns bearing the names of responsible officials. |
