Reverse description The reverse displays the identifying mint and series marks arranged around the central square perforation in the conventional Joseon cash coin manner. The character 营 (Yong), denoting the Hullyeondogam (Special Military Training Command), appears at the top of the hole. A crescent or hook mark appears to the left, serving as a workshop or furnace indicator. The series numeral 六 (Yuk), meaning 'six,' is positioned at the bottom, identifying this piece as belonging to Series 6 of the Yong mint issue. The reverse field is otherwise plain, with the legends showing typical casting characteristics of mid-eighteenth-century Korean mun coinage.
