| Reverse description | A crowned shield bearing three passant lions arranged in pale — the civic arms of Reval — occupies the central field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown rendered in a style typical of early seventeenth-century hammered coinage. The peripheral legend, divided across both sides of the shield, reads CIVITAT - REVAL, an abbreviated form of Civitatis Revaliensis, identifying the issuing city authority. The overall die workmanship reflects the variable quality characteristic of hammered small silver denominations of this period. |
