| Obverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan displaying a bold Nagari numeral or symbolic device in high relief at center, characteristic of the primitive coinage tradition of the Sitamau princely state. The design is strongly rendered with a large loop-form motif occupying the majority of the field, executed with minimal refinement typical of hand-struck issues. The flan edges are uneven and irregular, reflecting the hammered production technique. The field surface shows natural copper patination with areas of earthen encrustation consistent with age and circulation. |
