Reverse description A bold short cross pattée with concave, splayed arms is struck in the center of the inner field, contained within a raised dodecagonal inner border. The annular field between the inner border and the beaded outer rim bears the moneyer and mint legend in irregular Latin characters. The overall fabric is typical of late 11th-century Danish hammered silver, with a slightly cupped flan and variable strike depth.
