The annular inner circle divides the field from the surrounding legend zone, which contains the moneyer and mint inscription in irregular Latin lettering. The outer border consists of a raised beaded ring. Additional decorative elements fill the spaces between the letters in the legend, typical of contemporary Danish pennies struck at provincial mints. |
