Reverse description A small pattée-style cross is depicted at the center of a raised inner circle, the arms of the cross tapering slightly toward their tips. The annular inner circle divides the field from the surrounding legend zone, which contains the moneyer and mint inscription in irregular Latin lettering. The outer border consists of a raised beaded ring. Additional decorative elements fill the spaces between the letters in the legend, typical of contemporary Danish pennies struck at provincial mints.
