Reverse description The Chilean coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing horizontal lines in the upper half and vertical columns in the lower half, with a five-pointed star at the center. The shield is surmounted by a plumed crest and enclosed within an elaborate laurel and oak wreath tied at the base. The mint mark So appears at the lower right, flanked by two five-pointed stars. The legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination UN PESO is inscribed along the lower portion within the wreath. The entire design is enclosed within a fine toothed border.
