| Obverse description | Typeset letterpress note on cream paper, headed REPUBLICA ARGENTINA with the denomination UN PESO repeated in the lateral borders. The central text block carries a printed promissory obligation issued by the Tesorería General under Ley de 1.° de Octubre de 1860, with a small numeral vignette at centre and a handwritten emission date of 15 October 1861. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot for El Ministro de Hacienda and Por El Contador General, accompanied by a circular official seal stamp reading EMISION DEL 15 DE OCTUBRE 1861. |
