Reverse description Central device consists of the Chilean national coat of arms: a quartered shield bearing a five-pointed star, surmounted by a plumed crest and enclosed within a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base. The mintmark 'So' appears to the right of the shield within the wreath. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination UN PESO is inscribed across the lower field. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner rim consistent with the pattern's milled technique.
