| Obverse description | Two heraldic shields displayed side by side, each bearing a coat of arms — the dexter shield depicting an eagle and the sinister shield bearing a divided device — suspended from a decorative boss or ring at the top. The shields are rendered in relief within a beaded or toothed border typical of late medieval hammered coinage.
