| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the ornate tughra of Sultan Mahmud II, rendered in the traditional Ottoman calligraphic style with elaborate loops and ascending strokes. The tughra is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with a floral or decorative element visible to the right. The flan is slightly irregular, characteristic of hammered coinage of the period.
