| Obverse description | The Philippine national coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield bearing a radiant sun with eight rays in the upper dexter quarter, three five-pointed stars arranged across the chief, an American eagle in the lower sinister quarter, and a lion passant in the lower dexter quarter, all above a scroll inscribed REPUBLIKANG PILIPINAS.
