| Obverse description | Cast tin pitis of annular form featuring a large central circular perforation. The annular field is entirely occupied by a continuous Javanese script legend reading 'Cap Sultan Jambi' (Seal of the Jambi Sultan), arranged in a circular band around the central hole. The characters are rendered in low relief with the characteristic flowing strokes of the Javanese script, showing the typical irregular surface texture of a cast coin. The outer rim is plain and slightly uneven, consistent with hand-casting production methods. |
