Fiji's colonial currency administration sat under the Colonial Secretary's office throughout this period, which is why the note carries multiple signatories rather than a single bank governor — each signature block reflects a specific combination of officials then holding their respective posts. The three signature variants across just fourteen months suggest either deliberate date-specific issuance or rapid personnel turnover, and the January 1934 combination of Seymour, Chamberlain and Boyd was gone within five months.
Bradbury Wilkinson printed Fiji's notes continuously through this era. The January 1934 date is the earliest recorded for Pick 33.
