Obverse description Portrait of King George VI set within an ornate scrollwork cartouche at right, with the pound sterling symbol within a decorative frame below. The denomination is rendered in a central horizontal panel in bold letterpress, with trilingual title inscriptions in Greek, Arabic, and English above. The border consists of a fine guilloche lace pattern, and the serial number appears twice — at upper left and lower right.
