Reverse description The entire reverse is filled with an elaborate intaglio design centred on a large guilloche rosette within which the Isle of Man triskelion (three armoured legs) is set against a fine lathe-work background, encircled by the motto QUOCUNQUE JECERIS STABIT. The rosette is enclosed within an ornate arrangement of scrolling acanthus foliage and floral arabesques. The bank name is divided across two ribbon banners in bold letterpress, DUMBELL'S BANKING COMPANY arching at the top and LIMITED at the bottom, with corner guilloche medallions completing the border.
