| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a bold multi-line Persian calligraphic legend in Nasta'liq script, reading 'Sikka-yi Fath Ali Shah Khusraw Sahib-Qiran' (Coin of Fath Ali Shah, the King, Lord of the Auspicious Conjunction). The inscription is arranged in flowing diagonal registers across the flan, framed by decorative floral and foliate motifs characteristic of Qajar hammered coinage.
