Reverse description Left-facing bust of a Native American figure, shown from the shoulders upward, with traditional braided hair and an earring, rendered in moderately high relief. A row of small five-pointed stars flanks the upper legend IDAHO along the upper rim. The inscription BLACKFOOT and the date 2017 appear along the lower rim. Additional information

The "Native American Mint" is a private commercial operation, not a federally authorized mint. These pieces are not legal tender and were not struck under U.S. Mint authority. They are novelty items — typically copper-nickel blanks with applied colorized or engraved imagery — sold through television shopping channels and direct-mail marketing, often to buyers who mistake them for official government coinage.

Idaho was admitted to the Union in 1890, the forty-third state. No official U.S. quarter bearing Idaho's name was struck in 2017; the genuine Idaho Statehood Quarter was issued in 2007 under the 50 State Quarters Program.
