Reverse description Central cross pattée dominates the field, dividing it into four quadrants. The upper left quadrant displays the crowned royal monogram 'F' (for Fernando/Ferdinand VI), while the remaining quadrants bear partial heraldic devices. The mint mark 'P' for Potosí and the assayer's initial appear to the left of the cross, with the denomination numeral 'I' (one Real) visible above. The date and assayer letters are partially legible within the surrounding legend, consistent with the irregular fabric of hammered cob coinage. A post-mint hole is present in the lower central area of the field.
