Reverse description The reverse is printed entirely in blue-grey intaglio and comprises three principal guilloche vignettes arranged horizontally: at left, a large rosette with the '$1' numeral at its centre; in the middle, a circular medallion enclosing a square cartouche with the stylised kijang (deer) emblem of Bank Negara Malaysia, accompanied by a crescent and star; at right, a fine engine-turned lathe-work circle.
