| Obverse description | Central field bears the Coat of Arms of Fujairah, flanked by two flags each inscribed with 'Al Fujairah' in Arabic — the inscription appearing normally on the left flag and in mirror image on the right flag. The outer legend reads 'STATE OF FUJAIRAH' in Latin script and 'حكومة الفجيرة' in Arabic, with the denomination '١ ريال' (1 Riyal) and the year of issue indicated in both Hijri and Gregorian numerals. The fineness mark '1000' appears as part of the design. |
