Reverse description Central square cartouche containing a four-line Persian legend reading upwards: 'Shah Jahan / badshah-i ghazi' (Shah Jahan, Warrior Emperor). The AH date 1069 and regnal year 33 (RY 33) are inscribed in the field outside the cartouche. The Akbarnagar mint name appears as part of the marginal or field inscription. The design is characteristic of the standardised Mughal rupee format established under Shah Jahan's reign.
