| Obverse description | An oval portrait vignette of President Soekarno is positioned at left against a guilloche underprint, with a central vignette of an erupting volcano framed by stylised rays and flanked by decorative side panels. Two manuscript signatures appear below the central vignette, attributed to the Director of Bank Negara Indonesia P.M. Siantar and the Head of the Finance Department of Sumatra Province. The place and date P. SIANTAR, 11 MAART 1947 are printed at the lower centre. |
