Obverse lettering CRISTVS VINCIT
Reverse description A bold cross pattée with ornamental terminals occupies the central field, dividing the coin into four quarters, each containing a small fleur-de-lis or decorative pellet. The cross is set within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential legend CRISTVS REGNAT is inscribed in Latin capital letters around the outer border, consistent with the devotional Christogram formula used on contemporary Italian lordship coinage. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat uneven, characteristic of hammered production of the period.
