Obverse description Black letterpress print with red and blue overstamps on a narrow vertical format. The upper register presents the vertical denomination within a decorative scrollwork border incorporating Chrysanthemum seals and five-seven Paulownia seals, over which a red circular seal is stamped. The lower register bears vertical inscriptions within a frame enlivened by two confronting dragons, with a blue rectangular seal stamped between the two framing sections.

Reverse description Black letterpress print with red overstamps on a narrow vertical format. Vertical inscriptions are enclosed within a border composed of Hōō phoenixes in flight above iridescent clouds, with a dragon-horse facing left standing among paulownia foliage at the base. A red oval seal is stamped at the foot of the inscription column.
