| Obverse description | Two facing crowned busts of equal size, representing Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine, with a cross potent between them. The emperor on the left is bearded, while the figure on the right bears a mustache. The busts are rendered in a crude, provincial style characteristic of Avar imitative coinage. Surrounding the effigies is a continuous but nonsensical pseudo-legend derived from corrupted Byzantine prototypes, executed in debased Latin letterforms. |

| Reverse description | A cross potent with flat terminals mounted on a stepped base of four graduated steps, occupying the central field. The cross and steps are boldly rendered in the Avar imitative tradition, closely copying Byzantine solidus prototypes of the reign of Heraclius. A horizontal pseudo-legend, derived from the Byzantine VICTORIA AVGG formula, flanks the cross on either side, while the exergual inscription CONOB — the standard Byzantine mint and fineness mark for Constantinople — appears below the steps. |
