| Reverse description | A raised relief scene within a central medallion depicts North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in facing one another and clasping hands in a formal handshake, commemorating their historic inter-Korean summit. Both figures are rendered in full-length portrait wearing suits. Flanking the central medallion are laurel branches in low relief, and a decorative band of floral motifs runs along the lower border. The Hangul legend '김정은 • 문재인 회담' (Kim Jong-un – Moon Jae-in Summit) arcs along the upper border within a recessed rim. |

Issued to commemorate the April 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, in which Kim Jong-un and Moon Jae-in met at the DMZ in the first inter-Korean summit in over a decade. The meeting produced pledged steps toward denuclearization that went largely unfulfilled, and relations had deteriorated sharply again by the time this coin was struck in 2019.
North Korean commemorative won pieces of this type are produced almost exclusively for export sale through foreign dealers — they do not circulate domestically.
