| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen within an oval vignette at centre, set against a fine guilloche underprint in green. The bank title 臺灣銀行 appears above the portrait, with the denomination 壹圓 rendered in a decorative cartouche below, flanked by two red seal impressions. The serial number and the Republic of China year 43 inscription appear at the top and bottom margins respectively, with corner denomination characters 壹 at each angle. |
