| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić (1787–1864), Serbian linguist and reformer of the Serbian language, occupies the left portion of the note, rendered in fine engraved detail against a salmon-pink and olive-green underprint. A central guilloche vignette carries the monogram of the National Bank of Yugoslavia, flanked by the large numeral '10000' and the bilingual denomination inscription 'ДИНАРА – DINARA' in Cyrillic and Latin script. The issuing authority 'НАРОДНА БАНКА ЈУГОСЛАВИЈЕ / NARODNA BANKA JUGOSLAVIJE' is inscribed across the top, with a red serial number in the lower right. |
