Obverse description Central vignette presents the Roman ruins of the Tyre hippodrome, rendered in an intaglio-style engraving set within a rectangular frame against a purple and violet guilloche underprint. Arabic inscriptions appear above and below the central vignette, with the bank name in stylised Arabic script across the top and the denomination in Arabic numerals and text at lower centre. Serial number appears twice in violet ink, at lower left and upper right.

Reverse description At left, a group of Phoenician bronze statuettes stands in an upright vignette rendered in warm golden tones. The central intaglio vignette presents a panoramic view of Byblos Castle and its surrounding ancient ruins, framed within a rectangular border over a multicoloured guilloche underprint. The bank name "BANQUE DU LIBAN" is inscribed at top centre in Latin characters, with the denomination "DIX MILLE LIVRES" below, flanked by Arabic and bilingual numerals.
