| Obverse description | Central field displays the national emblem of Mongolia — the Soyombo symbol surmounted by a flame finial — set within a crescent arch, flanked on either side by vertical Mongolian script characters. Below the emblem, the cursive Cyrillic inscription 'Монгол Банк' (Bank of Mongolia) appears alongside a decorative flourish. Beneath this, a stylised ornamental lotus band separates the emblem from the bold denomination '10000 TOGROG' rendered in large relief numerals. The date '2003' appears in the lower field, and the incuse legend '1oz 999.9 Gold' is inscribed along the lower left inner border. The legend 'MONGOLIA' arcs along the upper rim, and the entire design is framed by a sawtooth inner border. |
