Obverse description At left, an intaglio portrait of Chingis Khaan (born Temüjin, c. 1162–1227) rendered in a classical vignette style against a fine guilloche underprint. To the right of the portrait, a Paiza (Gerege) — the imperial tablet of authority used by Mongol officials and envoys — is illustrated alongside the National Coat of Arms. A commemorative overprint stamp appears at right, marking the centennial inscription '1921 ★ 2021' of the People's Revolution.

Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a detailed intaglio vignette of the inner square of the ancient city of Kharkhorin (Karakorum), rendered with fine line-engraving that captures its historic architecture, gates, and surrounding walls. The denomination numerals appear at upper left and lower right within the overall guilloche border design, with the issuer's name in Cyrillic script across the top and bottom registers.
