Obverse description At center, the State Emblem of the Republic of Abkhazia in relief on a smooth field, with the Abkhaz inscription АҦСНЫ АБАНК (Bank of Abkhazia) below. A semicircular legend above the emblem bears the denomination 10 ҦСАРК (10 Apsars). Along the left rim, the metal designation, fineness, and fine metal content are indicated (Ag 925 1OZ), while the Moscow Mint monogram (ММД) appears along the right rim. The lower portion of the coin features a matted field with a five-line raised inscription giving the issuer name and the year of mintage 2009.

Reverse description A three-quarter portrait bust of Aleksandr Konstantinovich Chachba faces left, depicted wearing a traditional hat and smoking a pipe, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. Two six-pointed stars appear to the right of the subject's head. The Cyrillic legend АЛЕКСАНДР ЧАЧБА arcs above or alongside the portrait, with the birth and death years 1867 and 1968 inscribed below the stars.
