| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a detailed architectural rendering of the National Bank of Abkhazia building in Sukhumi, shown in high relief against a black enamelled field, flanked by a tall palm tree to the left. A gold-plated disc bearing the Apsar currency symbol rises above the building in the upper left. A horizontal gold-plated band runs across the lower portion of the field, above which the inscription 'АПСНЫ АБАНК' is rendered in Cyrillic lettering. The coin's border is decorated with a traditional Abkhazian geometric ornamental pattern. |

| Additional information |
Abkhazia's apsar series occupies an odd corner of numismatics — issued by a central bank of a state recognized by fewer than a handful of UN members, these pieces circulate nowhere and exist almost entirely for the collector market. The apsar itself was introduced in 2008, the same year Russia recognized Abkhazian independence following the brief August war with Georgia, giving the currency its only real political moment.
