Pick 83 spans nearly a decade of issue, which means the series absorbed the political turbulence of the 1973 student uprising that toppled the Thanom Kittikachorn military government — a period when public confidence in state institutions, including the central bank, was under visible strain. The note continued circulating through the transition to an elected government and back into military rule by 1976, a cycle that did nothing to interrupt the series.
Collectors should note that signature combinations are the primary variable across this run. At least seven distinct pairings of Finance Minister and Bank of Thailand Governor signatures appear, and values differ sharply between them.
