| Obverse description | Vignette at left centre presents the Lion of Timna, an ancient South Arabian sculpture of a lion bearing a rider, rendered in intaglio against a fine guilloche underprint in brown tones. The Arabic denomination عشر بقش appears in large bold letterpress at centre, with the issuer's title الجمهورية العربية اليمنية inscribed along the upper margin. A manuscript signature appears below the central text, with the serial number repeated at upper right and lower left. |
