| Obverse description | A standing female figure, representing the Filipino people, is depicted in the center of the field, striking an anvil with a hammer held in her right hand — an allegory of industry and labor. A smoking volcano rises in the right background, evoking the Philippine landscape. The peripheral legend reads TEN CENTAVOS above and FILIPINAS below, all within a beaded border.
