| Reverse description | Large numeral '10' dominates the central field, accompanied by the abbreviation 'C' and an equals sign to the right, together denoting the face value of 10 centimes. The denomination is rendered in bold, plain raised characters. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous inner border of raised beads (grenetis), which runs around the full circumference of the field, framing the denomination in a neat and functional manner characteristic of French World War I-era municipal necessity issues. |

| Additional information |
Laroque-d'Olmes, a small textile manufacturing town in the Ariège, issued aluminium emergency tokens during the acute small-change shortage that gripped France in the early 1920s. Municipal and commercial issuers across hundreds of French communes stepped in when the national government failed to produce sufficient low-denomination coinage following the metal disruptions of World War I. The Chambre de Commerce network handled most regional issues, but smaller communes like Laroque-d'Olmes occasionally issued directly through the mairie.
The Elie Monnaie reference 10.2 suggests at least one catalogued variety precedes this piece.
