| Obverse description | Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a diamond tiara, engraved in Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth definitive portrait. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the upper left periphery, with BERMUDA continuing along the right. The engraver's initials IRB appear truncated below the neck. The portrait is rendered with fine detail in the hair and facial features, characteristic of Rank-Broadley's naturalistic style. |

| Reverse description | A detailed botanical rendering of the Bermuda lily (Lilium longiflorum), the national flower of Bermuda, occupies the central field. The bloom is depicted with elegantly curved petals, prominent stamens, and graceful foliage, engraved in a flowing, naturalistic style attributed to Michael Rizzello. The date 2004 is inscribed along the upper periphery, while the denomination legend TEN CENTS curves along the lower rim. The design fills nearly the entire field, leaving minimal open space around the floral motif. |

Bermuda's currency has been pegged at par to the US dollar since 1970, making these coins functionally interchangeable with American dimes in value — though never in circulation, since US coins flow freely through the island while Bermudian pieces rarely leave it. The 4th portrait of Elizabeth II, sculpted by Ian Rank-Broadley, replaced Raphael Maklouf's effigy beginning in 1998 across most Commonwealth issuers.
KM#109 runs a full decade with no noteworthy mintage interruptions. The Bermuda Monetary Authority contracts striking to foreign mints, as the island has never operated its own facility.
