| Obverse description | Draped bust of a young woman in right profile, her hair arranged in an elegant traditional upswept chignon, centred on a holed flan. The legend 'ROYAUME DU LAOS' curves along the left periphery in Latin characters, while the Lao script inscription 'ພຣະຣາຊອານາຈັກລາວ' curves along the right.
