Obverse description The obverse features the Vytis, the traditional Lithuanian state symbol: an armoured knight on horseback galloping to the left, brandishing a sword aloft in his right hand and bearing a shield adorned with a double cross on his left arm. The circular legend 'LIETUVOS RESPUBLIKA' arcs around the upper field, while the date '1925' appears in the lower field beneath the horse. A stylised mintmark device is positioned immediately below the horse, flanked by two decorative floral ornaments.
