| Reverse description | The left half carries a finely engraved intaglio vignette of three miners at work underground, rendered with strong tonal contrast to evoke the nationalization of Nicaragua's mines, with the inscription NACIONALIZACION DE LAS MINAS placed in the upper left of the vignette area. The right half is occupied by a large guilloche numeral 10 above the denomination spelled out in two lines, the whole composition framed by serpentine decorative borders at each side in the same deep rose colour scheme as the obverse. |
