Obverse description The obverse is centred on an intaglio vignette of a Palari, the traditional Bugis sailing and barter-trading vessel of South Sulawesi, set over a multicolour guilloche underprint. The issuer name and denomination appear in all four official languages of Singapore — English, Malay, Chinese, and Tamil — along the upper inscription band, with a Round Scad fish vignette positioned toward the lower right corner. A portrait of the Lion's head watermark device and the Minister for Finance signature line complete the design.

Reverse description The reverse carries a vignette of a Housing Development Board high-rise residential complex framed by tropical foliage in the foreground and an open sky above, occupying the right-centre field. A large circular guilloche rosette anchors the left field, with orchid flower vignettes rendered in the upper corners. The bold red denomination numeral $10 appears at upper left and lower right, with SINGAPORE lettered along the lower margin and the printer's imprint at the base.
