| Obverse description | The dodecagonal flan bears the National Seal of the Republic of the Marshall Islands rendered in high relief at centre, depicting a traditional Marshallese stick chart navigation device and a frigate bird with outstretched wings above a sailing outrigger canoe and a coconut palm, all surrounded by a chain border. A radiant sun flanked by crossed oars appears at the top of the seal. A scroll at the base bears the word SEAL.
