| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, featuring a shield charged with two sailing vessels above a stylized chevron, supported on either side by a Scarlet Ibis and a Cocrico bird, both with wings displayed, standing upon a grassy mound above stylized waves. The crest above the shield displays a ship's wheel surmounted by a coconut palm, flanked by tropical foliage. A scroll below the supporters bears the national motto TOGETHER WE ASPIRE TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE.
