Obverse description The full achievement of the coat of arms of Belize occupies the central field, depicting two mestizo supporters flanking an escutcheon charged with tools and a mahogany tree, surmounted by a British ship under sail, with the national motto on a scroll below. The arms are encircled by a wreath of olive branches. The legend BELIZE arcs across the upper periphery and the denomination 10 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery, all contained within a beaded border at the rim.
