| Obverse description | Intaglio-printed note in blue tones on a light underprint with guilloche patterning at the margins. A three-quarter portrait of King Mswati III in traditional headgear occupies the left portion, with the national coat of arms — supported by a lion and elephant above the motto ribbon — at centre-bottom, and a vignette of the Central Bank of Swaziland headquarters to the right. Two facsimile signatures appear below the legal tender clause, attributed to the Minister for Finance and the Governor respectively. |

The P#29 series was issued across a five-year window under two successive signature pairs, which means date-specific examples bearing the Sithole/Dlamini combination can be placed within a narrower window of the governor's tenure — useful for collectors working the signature variants. Oberthur's Rennes facility handled Swazi currency through much of this period, a longstanding relationship that predates Swaziland's switch to the emalangeni name in 1974.
