Obverse description The obverse presents a Romanesque-style window and archway vignette rendered in intaglio, set against a warm red-orange underprint with fine guilloche patterns. The central architectural motif, representative of European openness and cooperation, does not correspond to any actual existing structure. Surrounding inscriptions include the denomination '10 EURO / ΕΥΡΩ', the year '2002', and the multilingual ECB acronym band 'BCE ECB EZB EKT EKP' along the upper edge.
