Obverse description Green intaglio print on paper. At left, a classical allegorical female figure is seated, holding a scroll and a flag; at center, a vignette of ships moored at dockside. The note is framed with intricate guilloche borders and carries the issuing bank's name and promise-to-pay inscription across the face.

Reverse description Green print overall with a fine guilloche underprint of floral and geometric rosettes across the entire field. The Dutch Royal Coat of Arms — supported by two rampant lions beneath a crown, with the motto JE MAINTIENDRAI on a ribbon — is centrally placed as the main vignette. Large numeral '10' appears in oval cartouches at left and right, and the serial number is printed in black at upper right and lower left.
