| Obverse description | The central vignette presents workers loading large logs onto a mechanical timber crane at a lumber mill, set against a lightly engraved industrial background, all within an intricate guilloche border with traditional Lao decorative motifs at the sides. The national coat of arms of the Lao PDR, incorporating a hammer and sickle surmounted by a star within a wreath, appears in the upper right quadrant.
